CHEETAH’s STORY…

CHEETAH is an influential Artist among admiring musicians  and fans alike. 

From her East Coast home, CHEETAH began as a child-church soloist, in her South Bronx, New York neighborhood, with true DOO-WOP Street Singers, and early musical influences, like her Oh-So-Cool Uncle, Percussionist Charlie Tiny Martinez and the internationally lauded Great Latin Singer and Band leader Willie Colon. 

Her younger brother Eric Pablo Sanchez played jazz harmonica harmonies and was known for his thrilling mouth harp stylings down in Chattanooga Tennessee as, the Mouth of the South. CHEETAH picked up speed and powerful influences as a Singer of the British and Appalachian Child Ballads, CHEETAH is an award winner among  vocalists  singing Baritone with Sweet Adelines International there, she was a switch-hitter, singing Baritone or Soprano as needed. As a Mezzo-Soprano, CHEETAH blossomed under the direction of widely recognized Classical Music Conductor Marina Alexander, former Artistic Director of the New York Metropolitan Opera. Cheetah's talent  flourished as she used the full range of her voice from Classical Soprano to Tenor,  in many languages.

Highlights among Cheetah's vocal experiences were: as an invited singer of the Verdi Requiem in D Minor just eight weeks after joining the Classical Chorus, and as a Chorister at Carnegie Hall.

Metropolitan Opera Star, Conductor Emily Hastings Keene was also CHEETAH's Conductor in the rare and exceedingly beautiful Latin Chorus of St. Catherine Laboré. These musical achievements of voice and sound result in a passion that  is truly unmatched; the sultry, mellow vocals and surpassingly graceful high notes in the repertoire of Singer-Songwriter Cheetah, Eve Sanchez Silver, Vocalist, Writer,  Motivational Speaker and Musician.
